Board Secretary / Co-Secretary - Send out meeting notices and take meeting minutes. Full job description available upon request.
Board Member – The Board member is one of up to 9 members who leads the organization in its vision, mission and work. The position is a working one, which meets at least once a month and not only contributes in a leadership capacity but is also involved in organizing and volunteering at events. The position is a 2-year term.
Social Media Specialist – Able to execute timely posts on Instagram, Facebook, and other possible platforms. Familiarity with social media protocol and etiquette is a plus.
City Liaison - As a resident of your city and preferably a representative of the LGBTQIA+ community, explore and foster ways that Eastside Pride PNW can better serve your community. Establish positive relationships with, for example: City Council and administrators, public libraries, senior centers, welcoming businesses, faith groups and other LGBTQIA+ organizations. Keep the Board informed of events or incidents in your city.
Event Lead/Volunteer Coordinator -Work with Event Manager to organize and oversee events to ensure they run smoothly, including keeping within approved budget, working with vendors and other organizers, updating the Board, ensuring adequate venue, staffing and supplies. Event coordinators need to have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Grant Writer/Fundraising – Able to network and find grant opportunities and describe and pitch organization’s vision, mission, and work to possible grantees.
Manager for Decal Program - Oversees distribution of decals to Eastside businesses.
