City Liaison - As a resident of your city and preferably a representative of the LGBTQIA+ community, explore and foster ways that Eastside Pride PNW can better serve your community. Establish positive relationships with, for example: City Council and administrators, public libraries, senior centers, welcoming businesses, churches and other LGBTQIA+ organizations. Keep the Board informed of events or incidents in your city.
Event Lead/Coordinator -Organize and oversee events to ensure they run smoothly, including keeping within approved budget, working with vendors and other organizers, updating the Board, ensuring adequate venue, staffing and supplies. Event coordinators need to have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Volunteer Coordinator - Works with organizing the volunteer staff to support the Event Lead/Coordinator. Develop and maintain a volunteer pool to be available for multiple events using a Sign Up app. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Website Support Specialist - Ensuring maintaining organization's website, forms, and other web-based content. May also collaborate with the Leadership Team to complete assignments and projects, and provide consultation on how to best use and present web content.
Social Media Specialist - Creates and manages content on social media platforms to build an audience, engage customers, and promote the organization's activities and needs. Be familiar with platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Follow social media etiquette and follow copyright issues. Keep the Board informed of usage level and pertinent DMs and suggest how to optimize followers and communication.
Photographer - Available to take high resolution photography for events for posting on organization website and social media platforms. Needs to be available for the majority of events, especially during Pride season.
