Eastside Pride PNW recognizes and denounces past and ongoing harm caused by some faith communities toward the LGBTQIA+ community. We are dedicated to fostering genuine transformation within and working to build more affirming faith communities, especially with those who are willing to truly embrace the LGBTQIA+ community. We understand the seeking or avoidance of faith
communities is a choice shaped by important personal needs. As such, we will not make specific recommendations in this area but will share what we see as informative independent assessments of how different faith communities may or may not live up to LGBTQIA+ affirming practices.
